I believe in spending as much time as needed in order to capture this special time in your life. First Birthday/Cake Smash, Family, Engagement full sessions are usually 30-60 minutes. Senior sessions are up to 1 hour. That being said, I do not put a hard time limit on full sessions. If a senior has a handful of extra curricular activities they want included or kids need a little extra time warming up, the session can go longer if you are OK with it. I do not want you to be stressed out because you feel like you are pressed for time but your 2 year old won’t sit still or you feel like you have to pick which extra curricular you want to include in your senior session, etc.

If you are booking a mini session, they are 20 minutes long and those typically do not last longer than that.

Before your session, you will be emailed a contract, invoice, and questionnaire. Half of your invoice total is due within one week of booking to secure your session date. Your date is not considered booked until the deposit is made and the contract is signed. The questionnaire is to get to know you before our session so I can provide the best experience possible. I want to know everything from extra curricular activities you want to include in your senior session, to what makes your kid excited! Kids often find it amazing that I know they love dinosaurs or want to be a truck driver when they grow up!

You will also receive our Client Experience Guide that will walk you through everything in regards to your session; things I look at in a location, outfit ideas/inspiration, tips for kids, etc.

I believe in delivering as many images as possible without making you pay more! Full sessions include the entire edited gallery. Mini sessions include an average of 10 images.

After your session, I will review all the photos. They will be culled down and those are the photos that are edited. Full sessions receive the entire gallery and mini sessions receive 10 images with the option to purchase more. Gallery links will be sent via the email address provided at booking.

If someone involved in the session is under the weather, please reschedule. There will not be any extra fees or charge for rescheduling due to an illness. We want everyone involved to be feeling their best to capture amazing photos you will love!

Please don’t reschedule due to acne or minor scratches. These can be edited out. These moments are important in your life and if you wait for acne to clear or scratches to heal, you may miss out on capturing this special time because life gets crazy and you may forget to reschedule.

If there is a severe case of acne, this may need to be outsourced for editing, but will be evaluated on an individual basis.

Upon booking your family session, you will receive a Client Experience Guide. This will walk you through different outfit tips and inspiration to help decide what to wear. If you are unsure if your outfits look good together, please don’t hesitate to text or email me photos and I would love to help you out!

Absolutely! Pets are members of the family too! All I ask is no spiders! :)
